Mantle Decorated For Christmas
I love decorating our mantle for Christmas! Actually, it is probably my favorite thing to decorate for every holiday. It is really fun to use a mix of items to make the mantle fun and eclectic. I also love decorating around the rustic wood beam. Now, let’s check out my mantle decorated for Christmas.
My favorite thing about decorating the mantle is using fun and colorful items to use as garland. This year, I used red and white beads and buffalo plaid balls. It is a little traditional and a lot of festive all in one. The flocked greenery provides a neutral background for the pops of color.
Traditional Christmas colors are what I like to use when decorating my home for Christmas. I have been using these bright red stockings for several years and I love how they brighten up the space and make it cheery. I have also been using these stocking holders for several years. They spell out the word PEACE and are currently silver, but I have painted them several times through the years.
The black candlestick holders are part of the everyday decor on my mantle. I decided to use them because I also like to incorporate black into my Christmas decor. Are you starting to see that I like to use red, black, and white for Christmas? It has been my favorite combination for a long time. I believe in sticking with what you know and love.
This year’s mantle came together nicely, don’t ya think? I think the most important thing when decorating your mantle is to have fun. Use textures and colors that make you happy. Mix Christmas decor items along with everyday decor items. Whatever you use, make sure it brings you joy. What do you think about my mantle decorated for Christmas?
